In this video, Roger Cummings, President and CEO of PEAK:AIO, highlights how the efficiency of Solidigm QLC drives is a key component driving the simplicity of PEAK:AIO infrastructure systems that let enterprises do more with less. One example is hospitals that need fast results but don’t have the infrastructure investment that enterprises rely on. PEAK:AIO enabled systems with Solidigm SSDs provide storage with the speed and accuracy needed to serve these edge AI customers and grow with them.
PEAK:AIO software allows commodity servers to act as high-performing AI and HPC servers for training and inference at the edge. When combined with Solidigm SSDs, PEAK:AIO software can bring infrastructure close to the data to accommodate constraints such as power, cooling and space at the speed, performance, and ease of use that its customers need. Together, PEAK:AIO and Solidigm push boundaries for applications that drive AI and HPC innovation at the edge.
Our collaboration with Solidigm allows PEAK:AIO to really be competitive in the marketplace when organizations are looking for solutions for AI and HPC.
Hospitals don't have the infrastructure that enterprises have. or support that enterprises have. So it's all about doing more with less.
My name is Roger Cummings. I'm the President and CEO of PEAK:AIO.
PEAK:AIO is a software defined store, so we're software that sits on any commodity server and turns that commodity server into a high-speed performing 2U server for AI and HPC workloads. A lot of our competitors tend to bring in a lot of infrastructure to accomplish these large AI infrastructure requirements. PEAK's kind of innovation is simplicity.
I once heard that failure within AI costs too much. Well, we're providing an infrastructure that's allowing you to learn along the way because you are going to have some setbacks but gain value and insight on an infrastructure that can grow with you.
We're working with medical institutions around the world to collect MRI object data, apply AI to those objects to find cancer. So when you're going to an MRI, you're collecting the MRI imagery of thousands of hospitals and millions of images.
We can take the simple infrastructure and move it really close to the data. Pushing the training and pushing the inference at the edge is critical. The output is much more intelligent. You don't want to get those AI suggestions or outcomes wrong, right? So getting closer to that data is a profound impact to those models.
And PEAK:AIO allows those organizations to move closer to that data at the speed, performance, and ease of use that customers need today.
Our collaboration with Solidigm allows PEAK:AIO to really be competitive in the marketplace when organizations are looking for solutions for AI and HPC, but have myriad of constraints around them; meaning power, cooling, actual physical space associated with it.
Solidigm offers a tremendous amount of quality within their products that we want to make sure that we're aligned to as well. If you're using the Solidigm 122TB drives, you can get a tremendous amount of density within those servers. Those drives, the QLC drives that Solidigm offers us, are very fast and allow us, as we push the data, right, also to store that data very efficiently and quickly. The density that Solidigm offers us and the performance Solidigm offers us allows us to fit into a tremendous amount of applications for AI and HPC.
